Welcome to the Henderson County Beekeepers!
The Henderson County Beekeepers Association is a local county chapter of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association.
We have members of all ages and all levels of beekeeping experience. We discuss a variety of aspects of beekeeping in Western NC, including:
Colony Setup and Management
Disease Identification and Solutions
Natural, Chemical-free Beekeeping
Honey Production and Marketing
Wax Crafts and Other Products from the Hive
Local Connections to Beekeeping Products and Solutions
We want to help our members become Bee KEEPERS, not Bee HAVERS. Please look around and get involved! The bees depend on you for their very survival and your satisfaction. We offer a number of resources for Beekeepers of all experience levels.
Support and educate both new and experienced beekeepers through trusted resources, mentorship, workshops, and self-guided learning materials.
Promote honey bee health, pollination awareness, and practical solutions to challenges facing bees and the beekeeping industry.
Strengthen the beekeeping community by encouraging collaboration among beekeepers, agricultural partners, and organizations at the state, national, and global levels.
Advocate for responsible beekeeping practices by staying informed on laws, regulations, and market opportunities related to honey, wax, and other bee products.
